Our company

INZAG Germany GmbH is a construction company, founded with the aim of meeting the needs of developing countries and their infrastructure gaps and thus contributing to the economic and social development of their population.

INZAG aims to support the development of growth countries in Africa and offers its technical expertise, its commitment to the best quality of life and above all its network of partners in Germany.

The company was founded in 2011 by one of the largest Latin American engineering and construction groups, Andrade Gutierrez (AG), which has been operating for more than 70 years and employs over 17,000 people.

Our purpose

The business purpose of INZAG is to develop projects in the fields of transportation (ports, airports, highways and railroads), water infrastructure (drinking water and waste water treatment and supply), energy (production and supply), mining and industrial plants.

INZAG is deeply committed to compliance with contractual, regulatory and legal requirements and to sustainability in the environment, economy and society. The in-house code of conduct and internal regulations are based on an established model which ensures the correct contractual, regulatory and legal application for each project.

Our future

INZAG aims to become one of the leading German construction companies in Africa by 2023. The company also plans to significantly expand its engineering and project management services in Germany.

In 1948, three young engineers – brothers Gabriel and Roberto Andrade and their friend Flávio Gutierrez – founded the Andrade Gutierrez construction company in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

In 1988, the Portuguese company Zagope is taken over by the Brazilian group Andrade Gutierrez S.A. and begins to diversify the type of projects it develops, such as subways, airports, tunnels, etc.

2005 Zagope begins to plan and implement its first projects in Africa.

2011 INZAG Germany GmbH is founded with the aim of carrying out projects in countries that are in the process of reconstruction and economic upswing, but whose infrastructure still has significant deficiencies.

In 2018 the branch office in Angola, INZAG Germany GmbH Sucursal Angola, is established.

2018 the branch in Ghana, the INZAG Germany GmbH Branch Ghana, is established.

On that basis, the Code of Ethics and Conduct was created for all collaborators and partners to move forward together and accordant. Therefore, its mechanisms show that we wish to attract Clients not only by means of our technical skills, but mainly because of our ethical values.
