Luanda (Angola), 19 August 2025 – The German-Angolan Mining Event offered a full-day platform of conference, networking lunch and targeted B2B sessions at the Hotel Epic Sana in Luanda. The event was aimed at companies already active in, or exploring new business opportunities in, Angola’s mining sector.

INZAG ETS: European export financing for investment in Africa

Director of Trade & Export Finance Leandro Fernandez presented the INZAG ETS model to the attendees. The structure enables African buyers to finance European capital equipment on terms that are typically not available in local banking markets: financing of up to 85 percent of the contract value, repayment over five to eight years, and a single contract that bundles procurement, logistics, commissioning, training, and where eligible local costs under one structure. The terms are underpinned by guarantees from state Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) in the equipment’s European country of origin. The pitch resonated strongly with the leaders of the Angolan mining sector in attendance.
