Founded in 1934, the Afrika-Verein der deutschen Wirtschaft is the central platform for economic cooperation between Germany and Africa.
Berlin, 9 July 2025 – Founded in 1934, the Afrika-Verein der deutschen Wirtschaft has for more than 90 years served as the central voice of German industry on Africa-related questions. Its Kuratorium brings together individuals and companies who help shape the association’s direction and priorities, and strengthen its links to public institutions and businesses on both sides.
Deepening German-African business relations
Focus areas include sustainable infrastructure, energy, mining, logistics and critical raw materials, fields where cooperation between German and African companies is gaining particular significance. The Kuratorium supports visibility, networking and strategic orientation, so that partnerships between the two business communities can grow substantively.
INZAG’s contribution to the work of the Kuratorium
INZAG brings its operational experience from major ongoing projects in Ghana (Eastern Corridor Road Lot 1), Angola (EN 140/295 Caiundo–Savate) and Uganda (Gulu-Pakwach Railway) into the work of the body. The company sees its role on the Kuratorium also as a renewed commitment to its core mission: delivering high-impact infrastructure and driving sustainable growth in Africa.
INZAG thanks the Managing Director of the Afrika-Verein, Christoph Kannengiesser, as well as Claudia Voß and the members of the association for the trust placed in the company, and looks forward to advancing shared goals together.
