INZAG Germany GmbH gratefully acknowledges the long-standing support of F. X. MEILLER Fahrzeug- und Maschinenfabrik-GmbH & Co KG (MEILLER Kipper). For its flagship project in Ghana, the rehabilitation of the Eastern Corridor Road Lot 1, the MEILLER team has produced an in-depth report on the use of their tippers, the challenges INZAG’s team faces on the ground, and the benefits the project brings to Ghana’s population and economy.

Tema (Ghana), 7 June 2024 – On the Eastern Corridor Road Lot 1 site, the 64-kilometre section between Tema and Akosombo, INZAG has used MEILLER rear tippers exclusively since 2019. A total of 50 vehicles are deployed on the project: 26 in the H336 series and 24 in the H436 series. They handle heavy material haulage on a stretch whose topography and heavy traffic loads place particularly demanding requirements on the fleet.

Reliable technology in a demanding environment

INZAG-branded MEILLER tipper unloading material on the Eastern Corridor Road Lot 1 site in Ghana.

The ECR is one of Ghana’s central north-south transport arteries, connecting the port of Tema with the inland regions. Durability, ease of maintenance and reliable parts supply are decisive factors for keeping construction on schedule in this environment. INZAG thanks MEILLER for the continued support and for the report, which makes the project’s significance for the region visible to a wider audience.
